Because I have a peculiar job of energy reading, I often publicly state that I am sensitive to energy, can do spiritual healing, and hand out many business cards that look strange to some. As a result, I am easily recognized by “my own kind.” Sometimes, low-profile witches on the internet will challenge me, or witch friends will hint that I could really be a bit more low-key. XD~

But making a living versus maintaining secrecy and being low-key is indeed a conflict. If a person doesn’t expose themselves, no one will know who they are, which means no clients. So, I apologize to those friends who are worried sick about me. I know they genuinely mean well, but the problem is: my work isn’t about hiding. It’s about letting more people get to know me.

The Rural Legend is Not Me

Inevitably, I meet some powerful friends in life who will come and say a few words to me. Honestly, I know there are many amazing people in this world, in all trades and professions. There are also many kind-hearted people doing good deeds quietly, fulfilling their perceived missions in many different ways. But so what? Everyone’s path is different. I know I’m not a magician who can silently turn everyone I serve into what they want to be. I can only do what I can at my own level.

So, regarding the many people who say, “A lot of powerful people don’t even have a sign, and their homes in the countryside are bustling with visitors”—I’m sorry, that rural legend is not me. When that day comes, of course, anyone would be willing to hide in the deep mountains to breathe the good air.

Some people will also say they have cultivated to the point where they can do this or that, but no one is quite like me. But then again, I really haven’t cultivated to the heavens or anything. I don’t have the ability to live on air like some masters, or to have practiced to the point of slowing down aging. To be honest, those are not my pursuits. Following the normal course of birth, aging, sickness, and death, even if it means getting all wrinkly, is not so bad. I just hope those wrinkles can be surprisingly beautiful. If one day people praise me as a beautiful old grandma, that would be pretty good too. The important thing is: I can still eat delicious food, drink spicy things, and go out to play with some handsome and pretty old grandpas and grandmas.

What is a True Spiritual Master?

In other words, when it comes down to it, we humans in this spiritual-related field care most about what kind of person is a “master.” And from my small experiences over the years, my realization is: “The one who can most quickly switch channels back to the real world is the true spiritual master to me.” The more a person can quickly switch between spiritual phenomena and the material world, recognize their own ordinariness and normalcy, not be swayed by the ups and downs of spiritual phenomena, and live life as it is, switching freely between work and life with a state of total awareness—that person is quite complete and healthy. They are not someone whose skills are so high they can reach the heavens, constantly speaking for the gods but forgetting how to get home.

People in different trades and industries require different talents and abilities; the strengths they need to use are all different. Some are good at working with their brains, some have artistic abilities that are astonishing, and others can clearly categorize all matters… Whatever type of person, there is only one thing that must never be forgotten, and that is to remember who you are. The clearer you are, the more complete, the sounder, and the more like the “master of masters” in my mind you become. As for the rest, just do your best to be what you are doing.

So, what is a spiritual master? I think it’s someone who joyfully completes their mission and has a lot of fun playing on Earth!
