[Foreword] Reclaim Your Interpretive Power: An Invitation to Return to Inner Authority
Welcome to this book. You may have come with various questions—about love, career, wealth, or a hazy “future.” But before we begin, I invite you to drop one expectation: This deck will not give you “standard answers.”
In our culture, we are too accustomed to “seeking guidance”—waiting for an external authority to tell us “what to do.” This is the very source of anxiety. When we hand over the power to interpret our own lives, we hand over our strength. The purpose of this e-book is to invite you to “Reclaim Your Interpretive Power.”
📖 How to Use This Book: One Deck, Two Perspectives
To assist you in achieving “Inner-Outer Integration,” we interpret each Tarot card on two levels. These are not two separate systems, but a complete observation of the same life phenomenon:
1. The Rider-Waite Tarot (Surface): A Map of Reality
This layer presents how events unfold in the material world. Its focus is: “What are you experiencing?” We provide specific guidance covering six practical areas: Love, Career, Studies, Friendship, Partnership, and Wealth, helping you make wise decisions in real life.
2. Zen Observation (Depth): A Mirror of Awareness
Once you see the external situation, this layer acts as a mirror, reflecting your current inner state. Its focus is: “Who are you?” Using the perspective of Zen, we guide you back to the “Present Moment” and “Body Awareness” to notice the inner beliefs and emotional patterns that create your reality.
🧘 How to Read Each Card?
- Listen & Look: Don’t just look at the images and text; “listen” to your heart’s first reaction to these messages.
- Feel: Bring the answer back to your body. Does it make you feel expanded and relaxed, or tense and resistant? Your body is your most honest ally.
- Integrate: Give yourself a “pause.” In this space, hold both the objective guidance of the Waite Tarot and the inner awareness of Zen Observation, allowing your own wisdom to emerge naturally.
Are you ready? The purpose of this journey is not to become a “more correct” person, but to find your “Inner Authority.” Let us begin this journey of integration with the zero point of “0 – The Fool.”
