I’ve thought for a long time about whether to write down these work insights. Regarding the issue of “external spirits” (Wài Líng) and “karmic debtors” (Yuàn Qīn Zhài Zhǔ) that worries many sensitive individuals or spiritual workers—honestly, I’m no expert. But this problem, much like the ancestral spirit issues that many shamans are fascinated with, is a part of existence. Before I started working, many senior friends repeatedly warned me to avoid this type of client, but in truth, this kind of problem is unavoidable.
External Spirits and the Endless Purification Cycle

In the earliest folk belief systems, we were accustomed to asking a Taoist priest or a monk to use the power of gods or Buddhas to arbitrate or negotiate terms with these unseen friends, whether through offerings, deliverance rituals, or repentance ceremonies. Later, some mind-body-spirit workers adopted similar methods. For example, Family Constellations has segments for reconciling with the deceased, and some subconscious communication practitioners use methods of communicating with spirits to reconcile. In recent years, because Ho’oponopono (Zero Limits) became popular, this method has also been widely used. Of course, some people also turn to Christianity, which also seems to be an interesting and effective solution; after all, believers have a kind of infatuated reverence for their God.
What I want to offer here is a method that truly uses one’s own power to resolve this. That is, you must know that the external world is a projection of your inner subjective world. We can especially recognize this in the unseen void: if you do not have an equivalent power within you, you will not attract the corresponding external spirits. Therefore, in the services I provide, apart from something similar to the Family Constellation style of reconciling with ancestors, I hardly offer any “spirit removal” (Chú Líng) services. This is because the true soul work lies only within the individual. The human heart is, in fact, a powerful magnet. Negative external spirits are usually a manifestation of a strong, unintegrated negativity within the heart. So, in this work, I choose to focus more on facing inner integration than on dealing with the unknowns of the void. And I recognize this as the only truly transcendent method, rather than being like some people who are forever stuck in a bizarre cycle of “spirit attachment, purification, and more spirit attachment” (卡陰、淨化又卡陰).
The Mind is Like a Painter, It Can Paint the World’s Perceptions

So, the truth is, “The mind is like a skilled painter, able to paint all the perceptions of the world.” (心如工畫師,能繪世間覺). Whatever your mind looks like, that is how the world will appear. One day, when you are still safe and healthy even after leaving behind God, Buddhas, and hosts of angels, that is when you have a truly sound and complete life.
Are you also stuck in the bizarre cycle of “attachment, purification, and more attachment”? The core of MSER is “inner integration,” not “spirit removal.” Click here to learn more about MSER services and transform your inner magnetism to paint a healthy portrait of your life.
