This card is the “Actual Display” of your current situation. “The Tower” in Rider-Waite is often seen as the most feared card, representing “Sudden Upheaval” and “Structural Collapse.” A Tower of Babel built on pride (crown) is struck by lightning from God (or the Universe), and people fall from heights. On a practical level, this indicates that a structure built on false beliefs, lies, or shaky foundations (relationship, career, belief) is facing inevitable disintegration. This is not something you can control, but a release of accumulated energy.

It destroys the arrogance and defenses built upon the ego. Do not try to rebuild old illusions; let them fall. This is a moment of enlightenment. Though accompanied by shock and pain, it is the necessary breaking of the shell to welcome new life. In the ruins, you will find that the only thing indestructible is your awakened essence.
